Characteristics grown for its clump forming narrow blue gray foliage. Grows 8”-12” tall in dense mounds, produces small plumes in summer.

Use as edging borders, mass plantings and ground cover
 
Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’ – Japanese Forest Grass
Characteristicsfine textured bright yellow leaves with a variegated green stripe that turns red in the fall. Foliage arches towards light, makes for a graceful colorful ground cover in shady areas. Grows 18” tall.

Imperata cylindrical ‘Rubra” – Japanese Blood Grass
Characteristicsan erect leaf blade that’s a bright green on bottom that turns to a blood red color midway up. It grows 18”-24” tall in a dense form. It produces a fuzzy plume for winter interest.

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Gracillimus’ – Maiden Grass
Characteristics delicate clumps of fine textured foliage in a rounded form. Grows 5’-8’ tall and produces plumes with reddish flowers in mid autumn, this makes for great winter interest.
